SPECIFICATIONS

- 65 sqm flat deck (700 sqft) -

The design of the T 52’ Explorer was done bearing in mind the need for a small versatile cargo catamaran offering very large deck space for its length.

Yet, the design allows the platform to be customized to just about any interior finish or usage one may require or desire.

- The T 52’ is equipped with two Yanmar commercial diesel engines, extremely reliable and sober giving
her a 12-14 knots cruising speed according to the load. It is designed to be a low cost operation vessel
with minimal loss of time for maintenance .

- The machinery spaces as well as the tanks compartments have direct access from the deck to allow
fast service or removal of vital tanks or machinery components for repair .

- In its Caribbean cargo version the T 52’ has an approximate range of 750 Nm .

- The shallow draft allows the T 52‘ to get very close to the shore as only a catamaran can .

- The large deck is 65 square meters (700 sq ft) and allows transport of a variety of cargo .
The T 52’ can carry up to five tons of freight .
The deck surface is equipped with a tied down system for securing cargo .

- Hull designed for increased efficiency -

- The helm station, designed higher than the roof, offers a 360 degrees view .

- A crew of two can operate the boat and live on board .

Lay up

- The two hulls are occupied in the fore half by the cabins, bathroom and heads, an office space and the control station of the secondary bilge pump system and fire fighting system.

- A tanks compartment, the machinery and the steering compartment occupy the aft half.

- Each hull is divided into watertight compartments, each of them equipped with
two independent bilge pumping systems making the T 52’ Explorer a very safe vessel.

- The cost effective plywood epoxy construction integrates largely a composite fabrication by using numerous GRP molded parts and modules contributing to
the low maintenance characteristic of the boat.

Private Version

- The T 52’ is the ideal platform for the exploration.

- Hardened boat, issued from a demanding workboat design, equipped with many safety features, the T 52’ with extended range offers incomparable space and polyvalence for voyage .

- The aft deck equipped as living area can offer a minimum of 50 square meters (538 sq ft) for a loft .

- The top deck can be equipped to store dinghy, sea toys, jet ski, etc.

- The hulls can house on one side an owner’s suite and a large private office.

- The other side can accommodate a double and single bed or three single beds as well as a laundry room.
